SOLAS 2012 11月修正案>第 II-2 章>第10条>第10.10条>第10.10.4条规定：

　　对于2014年7月1日或以后建造的船舶，船上每一消防队应携带至少两个双向便携式无线电话机用于消防员的通信。这些双向便携式无线电话机应为防爆型或本质安全型。2014年7月1日以前建造的船舶应不迟于2018年7月1日以后的第1次检验符合本要求。（For ships constructed on or after 1 July 2014, a minimum of two two-way portable radiotelephone apparatus for each fire party for fire-fighter's communication shall be carried on board. Those two-way portable radiotelephone apparatus shall be of an explosion-proof type or intrinsically safe. Ships constructed before 1 July 2014 shall comply with the requirements of this paragraph not later than the first survey after 1 July 2018.）
